Hello and thank you for taking your time to learn more about FresnoJobs.

I started this website because as an employer, I was frustrated by the amount of money I have to pay for local recruitment advertising. As a small business employer, I did not have the budget for recruitment that cost hundreds of dollars a year. So with my web savvy background, I put together a real basic, self-service job board back on 2005. My company, of course, was the first customer and the first job poster.

After a year, I found that many employers were in the same position as I am, so the job board postings gradually increased. The same year, I observed that most of the website traffic was coming from Google search of keyword "fresno jobs". On 2007, the City of Fresno took notice and placed us as one of the resource for finding jobs in Fresno, so traffic doubled as a result. Now, we have over 5,000 unique visitors per month on average --- that's an audience of career seekers visitors with a main purpose of finding the right employment fit.

This year, with the advent of social media and the growing importance of search engine marketing, we redeveloped the FresnoJobs platform to provide our customers value-adding features on top of recruitment advertising, the most useful of which is search engine marketing. On a separate web page, titled "Why use Fresnojobs?", we listed most of the features that we think your company could use when you sign up.

Fresnojobs.org is a proud member of the Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce and the Fresno Online Network, a group of independent media websites, which include FresnoArts.net, TasteFresno.com, LocalFirstFresno.com, Fresno Nonprofit Network, and GreenFresno.org.
