Teacher of English Language Learners

Under the general supervision of the Superintendent/Principal, performs a variety of tasks with the major responsibility of instruction and supervision of ELL students (or non-ELL’s) as selected by district procedures. Instruction of students shall include skill development, the expansion of knowledge, application of skills, and development of reason. Responsibilities of supervision include guidance, discipline, and safety of all students. The use of independent judgment and decision making is highly required in matters not having established rules, regulations, policies, or precedent.
