Saint Joseph Gardens is a 6 bed care facility for the developmentally disabled. We are currently interviewing for direct care staff positions for the following shifts:
AM: 5am-10am / 5am-2pm
PM: 2pm-10pm
Job duties include teaching adults with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities to be independent in all aspects of daily living in their home and community as well as to assist with maintaining living environment including, but not limited to meal preparation, laundry and, light cleaning (dusting, mopping, sweeping, etc.), with and without the individuals assistance.
Experience is not required but preferred. Student LVNs or RNs are the best candidates.
Requirements: (1) Must be available evenings and weekends. (2) High school diploma or GED (3) Ability to handle day to day physical demands including lifting, bending and stooping.

Must have clean driving record. No experience required; but willing to work outside using pesticides. Some advertising for company will be required.Position is part-time and will eventiually become full-time once new employee is trained. Pay is hourly for part time position and will become salary based plus commission on sales while advertising.

Caregivers for clients who are developmentally delayed (ages 40-60) are needed to work in a home setting. Must be at least 18 years old, pass a fingerprint clearance, drug screen, TB test and health screening.
High School Diploma or equivalent. You will be part of a caring and loving team that devotes time and care to our clients.
