Role:

Resource Development Assistant

Reports to: Director of Marketing & Resource Development

Summary: Demonstrate Christ-like behavior and attitude in all duties and responsibilities. Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Resource Development Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Donor data entry, including donations and other donor information.
  2. Produce donor thank you letters and Memorial/Honorarium cards.

Volunteer Coordinator - Community Food Bank

Classification: Full-Time, Exempt

PURPOSE OF POSITION: To assist in developing a broad base of community volunteers, who actively support the Community Food Bank’s mission of creating a hunger free Central Valley.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, develop, evaluate and promote a volunteer utilization program, based on proven best practices, that effectively serves the agency’s needs and strategic planning priorities.
  • Work with key staff to ensure that Community Food Bank is a volunteer site of choice in the community.
  • Work with key staff to develop volunteers into donors as appropriate.
  • Cultivate, recruit, place, retain, schedule, track and recognize a diverse pool of active volunteers from the community including but not limited to individuals, faith-based groups, civic groups, academic interns and governmental agency referrals, for short-term and on-going activities.

  • Assist the Agency Relations Coordinator to help partner agencies to develop and implement effective volunteer management programs

  • Assist in creation of materials related to the volunteer management program.

    Mobile Pantry Coordinator - Community Food Bank

      The mobile pantry program is designed to directly serve individuals who are low income and/or food insecure. The program consists of nutrition educational, food stamp outreach, food distribution and food preparation as appropriate.

      Duties and Responsibilities
      The Development Assistant reports to the Development Director, providing essential assistance in attaining the financial goals of the Development Department at the Fresno Philharmonic.

      Saint Joseph Gardens is a 6 bed care facility for the developmentally disabled. We are currently interviewing for direct care staff positions for the following shifts:

      AM: 5am-10am / 5am-2pm
      PM: 2pm-10pm

      Job duties include teaching adults with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities to be independent in all aspects of daily living in their home and community as well as to assist with maintaining living environment including, but not limited to meal preparation, laundry and, light cleaning (dusting, mopping, sweeping, etc.), with and without the individuals assistance.

      Experience is not required but preferred. Student LVNs or RNs are the best candidates.

      Requirements: (1) Must be available evenings and weekends. (2) High school diploma or GED (3) Ability to handle day to day physical demands including lifting, bending and stooping.

      Assistant Executive Director
