RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and Responsibilities
The Development Assistant reports to the Development Director, providing essential assistance in attaining the financial goals of the Development Department at the Fresno Philharmonic.
The Development Assistant will:
- Oversee data entry, donor acknowledgment, and accurate database records
- Oversee compilation of donor and sponsor lists for Program Books
- Coordinate and provide support in achieving special events and fundraising goals

The Discovery Center a children’s Science and Nature Park has two open educator positions. Our mission is to offer children an outdoor hands-on learning experience that stimulates passion, curiosity and wonder for the enviroment and physical sciences.
As a science educator you will be teaching science to children in grades K-6. We are looking for educators that have a psssion for science and good presentaion skills. This position has the potential to expand into a fulltime educational director.

Saint Joseph Gardens is a 6 bed care facility for the developmentally disabled. We are currently interviewing for direct care staff positions for the following shifts:
AM: 5am-10am / 5am-2pm
PM: 2pm-10pm
Job duties include teaching adults with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities to be independent in all aspects of daily living in their home and community as well as to assist with maintaining living environment including, but not limited to meal preparation, laundry and, light cleaning (dusting, mopping, sweeping, etc.), with and without the individuals assistance.
Experience is not required but preferred. Student LVNs or RNs are the best candidates.
Requirements: (1) Must be available evenings and weekends. (2) High school diploma or GED (3) Ability to handle day to day physical demands including lifting, bending and stooping.

The Assistant Director will plan, organize and assist in the day-to-day operations of the Agency; direct and coordinate special projects and programs; and assist the Director with a variety of administrative duties.
