Job Summary: The Development Analyst will provide independent, program planning, project management, analytical and administrative support to the Director of Development (DOD) in support of major gift prospects, annual giving and alumni giving programs; coordinate all UCSF Fresno fund development events; serve as second Academic Affairs Analyst during the annual call; manage the annual Kaiser Award for Excellence in Teaching process; handle other special projects; and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: BA/BS with a major in a related field and two years of experience in administrative analysis or operations research; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; demonstrated success with databases, spreadsheets, word processing and PowerPoint presentations; knowledge of correct spelling and grammar; superior proofreading skills; excellent critical thinking; applied problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization; excellent time management skills; ability to multi-task; ability to maintain confidentiality and to apply good judgment to all aspects of work. Note: Fingerprinting and background check will be required.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong applied knowledge and experience in the analysis, interpretation and application of UC policies; flexibility and ability to respond to sudden changes in priorities and work effectively both as a member of a team and individually.
