Essential Functions of Position
Teaching a variety of courses that may include Introduction to Criminology, Legal Aspects of Evidence, Principles and Procedures of the Criminal Justice System, Community Relations, Concepts of Criminal Law, Concepts of Enforcement Services, Criminal Investigations, Juvenile Delinquency, Criminal Justice Communications, Constitutional Interpretations, Introduction to Police Ethics, Introduction to Victimology, Criminal Personalities, Vocational Work Experience, Introduction to Corrections, Correctional Report Writing, Correctional Interviewing and Counseling, Control and Supervision in Corrections, Legal Aspects of Corrections, Gangs and Corrections, or other courses as designated. Additional responsibilities include: curriculum development and/or revision including student learning outcomes; teaching early morning, evening or weekend classes, working with community and campus organizations; participating in department, division and college committees; and otherwise fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of instructional staff as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Include a Master’s degree in criminology, criminal justice, administration of justice, or a Juris Doctor, or a valid California Community College Credential or the equivalent education and/or experience.

The Fresno Philharmonic seeks a Director of Development (DOD) to be part of a senior management team responsible for guiding the orchestra in pursuit of organizational goals. The DOD designs and implements a comprehensive fundraising program to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives for annual support, major gifts, endowment, planned giving, and special projects. The DOD will report directly to the orchestra’s Executive Director, and work closely with Board members, including the development committee, in achieving contributed income goals, presently about $1 million each year for the Annual Fund.
