Central Valley Business Incubator Jobs

The Central Valley Business Incubator is looking for two bright, energetic people to fill an Administrative/Accounting position and a person to coordinate services for our business members. The Member Services Director needs to have a general business background to coach start-ups, teach classes, build supports networks, coordinate professional services, and lead discussion groups. This person needs to be able to work one-on-one with business owners and to be able to coordinate services for many members. The salary range is $50,000 to $60,000.

The Administrative position’s duties range from reception, management support and accounting. Since this person will be the first point of contact for our membership and the public, the ideal candidate will be friendly and out-going. Strong computer and organizational skills will be necessary for management support. Basic accounting skills are required. Salary is $30,000 to $35,000.

The Central Valley Business Incubator is an exciting place for businesses to get the support and resources that they need to grow to their next stage. Members include start-ups and existing businesses looking for expansion and financing. Classes, meetings, coaching and other activities regularly occur beyond of the 9-5 workday.

Media/Publishing Coordinator

Job Summary:
Publishes a variety of technical articles, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. Responsible for coordinating the displays of graphics and the production of the document.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Writes/Publishes and coordinates the production of the Tribal Newsletter, the Shish-Liu Times.
  • Create and execute publicity plans/documents.
  • Prepares memorandum, letters and reports for Museum documentation.
  • Provide support for publicity and related event planning for Museum/Cultural Events.
  • Develops and maintain graphics for use in media releases.
  • Publishes historical Tribal books and documents.

Qualified candidate will have a B.A. in Mass Comm./Journalism, excellent administrative skills, and 2+ years background in publishing/editing.
